No, I don't have a favourite painter/artist. Nor can I make much sense of abstract art as it were... But I simply love this painting, and by far, I can aver, this is my favourite! I have no romantic reasons to pick this one - colour/compostion and blah! In fact, if you ask me why I like it, I'd simply say... "Look at the sky. What colour is it? Or the way a hawk flies. Or you wake up and your ribs are bruised thinking so hard on somebody. What do you call that?" Inman, Cold Mountain
